All across the State of North Carolina, dedicated community volunteers have pulled together to form local CFDL teams in their communities.  They have implemented the CFDL program to address the many issues confronting our young men and boys today.  Using football as a catalyst, the local CFDL teams provide hope and an opportunity for many young men and boys to achieve their dreams and goals.

CFDL work with “high risk” young men based upon our definition of  a "high risk "youth. They are any young man who is not in a controlled environment to asset him in his personal growth and development?
They can come from gangs, expulsion from school, not able to play because of grades, etc.
They can also have good grades, still in school but just want to play football.
We want to have a team or teams in every county, to mentor any youth of any race, creed, or color and from any background to make them better young men
